
The Perricone Diet is not a method for losing weight at all, though that result may occur as a side effect. Dr. Nicholas Perricone is a dermatologist who has designed a food plan that he claims will reduce the signs of aging, lower inflammation in the body, and give you better protection against some diseases. His tenets are drinking lots of water, choosing whole grains and legumes, healthful proteins, and lots of fruits and vegetables. He does not offer sample menu plans, or talk about reducing calories, fat, or anything of that sort.
